CONTINUING EDUCATION LESSON 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Blindfold Musicality, by Carolyn Dunn Wakefield!

In this blindfold class, we step into a dance space where the music becomes the primary guide. Without the option to watch for visual signals, dancers learn to interpret rhythm, phrasing, and emotional tone through the conversation of partnership. We will explore how musical ideas such as accents, pauses, textures, and dynamic shifts can be communicated and felt exclusively through partner connection, rather than sight. This is a class about curiosity, presence, and a willingness to feel the music in a new, expanded way.

NOTE: It is best to bring your own blindfold or scarf, but fabric that can be used as a blindfold will be available if you don’t have anything you can bring for yourself.

BEGINNER LESSON 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Let us know if you're new to dance, and Pierce/Elizabeth will be happy to teach you the fundamentals of Fusion!
