INTERMEDIATE LESSON 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM "The Not-So-Basic Basic" by Pierce Collins!

The weight shift is the basic step foundational to dance, often viewed as simple and boring compared to flashier movements like turns, dips, and aerials - but it doesn’t have to be this way! Unlock the full potential of the weight shift by learning to change its timing, shape, and size to make the basic step anything but, capable of carrying an entire dance by itself!

Pierce has served as a teacher for Menagerie Fusion in Atlanta since 2017. Their teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of mastering musicality, connection, and the fundamentals central to movement to becoming the best dancer you can be.
